Literature Text
i drank the poison
from your lips, i
dug my fingers in
the cracks
between your
ribs,
held tight: a
living vice and prayed
that we would last
the night.
(but we suffocated in
the cages of our bed covers,
cold like the surface of
the moon.)
Literature
You'll Forget
one day, you'll
stand at my
cold, gray grave.
you'll forget my name
before i'm cold
you'll forget i
liked techicolor
rainbows and hair
you'll forget that
i wrote poetry
and wrote memories
on your mind
you'll forget what
i stood for
and that i stood
at all
you'll forget that
i smiled or why i
cried all you'll
know for certain
is that I died.

The [less] you say
The [more] I learn about you
You sit there on your
throne of silence
Screaming whispers in my face
I understand you, I know your secrets.
What were your last words to me?
Oh yes, "uh mm"
Says so little but means so much
[Generally]
It says
I don't care
I'm not really here
There's someone else
You're not good enough
I don't love you anymore
And I hear you loud and clear
Literature
your poem
you tell me on a thursday that you can’t find
the god inside of yourself anymore, that
you think that you are finally
too much honeycomb and not enough human
because lately everything has been slipping
through your fingers, and you don’t know how you can
keep holding yourself together anymore.
if today is the day that you look
at the stars and you no longer
feel their burn beneath your bones,
i will show you the blanket i tried to make
when i was eight, and i will tell you all i know
about the string theory, which isn’t much, i admit,
but i do know the basics,
and that’s that everything in the universe
is composed
